Discover Tay Ninh Province: A Journey Through History and Beauty
Located approximately 90km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh province is about a two-hour drive away. While many visitors to Vietnam are familiar with the extensive Cu Chi Tunnels, fewer know about the historical and cultural significance of the stunning Black Mountain and the Cao Dai temples nearby. These sites hold a special place in the hearts of the Vietnamese people, having been revered for centuries. A visit to Vietnam is incomplete without exploring these beautiful and meaningful treasures.
Nui Ba Den (The Mountain of the Black Virgin): This majestic mountain, covered in lush greenery, rises 3,000 feet above the rice fields and jungle, often shrouded in clouds. Pilots who have flown over Black Mountain describe a unique and powerful aura that it exudes.
Tour Itinerary:
- 7:00 a.m.: Depart from your hotel with tour Guide in a private car to the Cu Chi Tunnels. (van will be provide for group tour).
- 8:30 a.m.: Arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels. Experience the tunnels firsthand and learn about their historical significance during the Vietnam War.
- 10:30 a.m.: Depart for the Tay Ninh province.
- 12:30 p.m.: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, featuring a variety of dishes and a beautiful view.
- 1:30 p.m.: Head to Black Virgin Mountain. Take a cable car to Ba Den Pagoda, surrounded by mango trees and woodland flowers. For those who hike higher, the reward is spectacular views of Tay Ninh province.
- 3:00 p.m.: Depart for Ho Chi Minh City.
- 6:00 p.m.: Arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City and return to your hotel.
